Older versions of pandoc are included in Fedora, EPEL, and CRB 8.

Installation Instructions

yum/dnf install pandoc

If you need recent pandoc-types for pandoc filtering you can also add copr://petersen/ghc-pandoc-types

(Private note to self: epel requires copr://petersen/ghc-8.2.2)
